Terms of Service
Last updated: 17 October 2026
By using UROOJ, you agree to these terms. UROOJ is a personal self-improvement and reflection tool that helps you track habits, daily tasks, challenges, remembrance, gratitude, and personal intentions.
1. About UROOJ and AI assistance
UROOJ was created by Hamza Madni with assistance from Jarvis, an AI assistant. Parts of its code, interface, and text may be AI-generated or AI-assisted and may contain errors. The maintainer may update, correct, or remove features.
2. Personal use and responsibility
Use UROOJ for your own planning and reflection. You are responsible for the entries you make and for protecting access to your device, browser profile, Google account, and any exported backups.
3. Optional Google integration
Google sign-in and Drive backup are optional. If enabled, Google’s own terms apply to your use of Google services. You are responsible for reviewing the permissions shown by Google and choosing whether to approve them. Do not share your OAuth credentials or private backup files.
4. Data storage and backups
UROOJ stores data in the browser and, only if you authorize it, can store a backup file in your Google Drive. This app does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, perfect synchronization, or recovery of lost data. Export backups regularly for information you want to preserve. Deleting the local browser data does not delete a separate copy in Google Drive, and deleting the Drive backup does not erase the local copy.
5. Religious and personal guidance
UROOJ is an organizational and reflection aid, not a religious authority, medical service, or professional counseling service. Islamic calendar dates may be estimates, and religious practices can depend on reliable sources and local guidance. Confirm important religious dates and rulings with appropriate trusted sources.
6. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, attempt to disrupt its operation, or use it in violation of applicable law or the terms of third-party services. Do not submit confidential information about other people without a proper basis.
7. Availability, security, and liability limits
UROOJ is provided on an “as available” basis. No guarantee is made that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, fully secure, or able to recover lost data. Local app data and exported backups are not encrypted by UROOJ; protect your device, account, and backup files. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Hamza Madni and the UROOJ project disclaim liability for indirect loss, data loss, device compromise, and failures of third-party services. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Features may change or be discontinued, and these terms may be updated as the app evolves.
